My Glasses Order Nightmare: A Month of Waiting & Horrible Support! 😤
Let me share my absolutely terrible online shopping experience, hoping it serves as a cautionary tale for others. I ordered glasses on January 17th, promised shipment within a week, but here we are on February 18th, and they are STILL “In production.” My frustration stems from the absolutely horrible customer service; you can't connect with a representative and just go round in circles. Despite reaching out three times and being told they'd “mark them as urgent and rush the order,” nothing happened. I felt compelled to leave this review and finally connect with someone to understand what went wrong before canceling my order, as I wouldn't recommend this nonsense to anyone.
Customer: I need to speak to someone about order #10020. I placed it on January 17th, and it's still "in production" despite being told it would ship in a week! CS Rep: I sincerely apologize for the significant delay and the frustration this has caused. Let me pull up your order for you now. I see it's been marked as urgent previously, and I understand why you're upset. Customer: Upset is an understatement! I've reached out three times, and nothing changes. I just keep going round in circles with no clear answers. This is absolutely horrible customer service. CS Rep: I truly hear your concern. We had an unforeseen backlog, and I'm very sorry the updates weren't sufficient. At this point, would you like me to try and get a definitive production update, or would you prefer to process a cancellation and full refund immediately? Customer: I want a refund. I've waited long enough for glasses that never shipped. I just want my money back. CS Rep: Understood. I'm processing your cancellation and full refund right now. You should see the funds back in your account within 5-7 business days, and I'll send you an email confirmation shortly. Again, I sincerely apologize for this experience.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap of endless waiting and horrible customer service.
